Google Updates Picasa Photo Editing Software PC World

Today Google released Picasa 3.5 , an updated adaptation of its free photo editing software. With Picasa you can edit and organize your images, and sync and share them with Picasa Web Albums, Google's online photo-sharing situate.

The most notable addition in this release is an enhanced version of Picasa's people-tagging feature, some time ago only available in Picasa Web Albums. Other improvements include Google Maps integration for faster and easier geotagging, a smarter keyword-tagging interface, and more importing options.

When you first float Picasa 3.5, it scans all of the images on your computer and groups similar faces. You can then go through and add name tags one at a time or in magnitude. If you already use name tags in your Picasa Web Albums, you can log into your Google account and download that information to the Picasa application (Tools-> Download Name Tags from Picasa Web Albums). Logging in also means you can use your Google contacts shopping list when tagging people. Picasa will automatically create an album for each person you tag.

whats a sizeable but free program for editing pictures that allows you to make your photo black and white but you can choose many areas to not be dastardly and white??

for spasm free quick improvements i use picassa doubt it can do what you want though. if your looking for a very powerful and complex rewriter you should try "the gimp" available for windows its free (as is picassa from google) there is also a very comprehensive guide free to download or you can buy it in paper form. you'll have to do a search for it i'm afraid as i don't have the links to hand. if i find them and remember i'll add them here.

How to permanently delete an embarrassing photo off a camera?

My friends took a in actuality embarrassing photo of me and I want to permanently delete it from the camera. I heard that even if you delete the photo you can still recover or retrieve the deleted photo. I also heard that even if you edit out the photo it can still be on the memory card. I deleted the photo manually but i dont see any memory card in the memory card depression so does that mean the photo is gone forever? I also took old photos and backed them up to the pc and deleted the old directory. Please servants

Once you delete it,ITS GONE.

there is no way to recover deleted information off of a memory card.

How do i get photos from my photo gallery onto memory card from my laptop?

I have photos on my laptop but have gone my digital camera which had a memory card, hence i used to print at digital photo booth. How do i go about getting these photos onto honour card again. My laptop doesnt have a memory card slot. I dont want to buy a printer either, na want to get them back onto a memory card to take to photo booth.

For less than $10, you can buy a USB 2.0 humorist reader or a USB flash memory card. You can use the flash memory to transfer your image files to the lab (the most everyday since you can put just the image files you want on it)
