FARMVILLE, Va. — When the tow-communication driver had finished pulling the car out of the ditch and onto a wrecker, he offered the 20-year-old driver a bump off.
As the two men made small talk, the truck driver was almost overwhelmed by an odor, a stench he later concluded was that of rotting human. "He stunk like the devil," he says.
That young man, an aspiring rapper who wrote macabre lyrics about the shudder of killing people, is now suspected in the slayings of four people whose bludgeoned bodies were found in a home in this quiet Virginia community.
Richard "Sammy" McCroskey III told deputies who responded to the desolate stretch of Poor Domicile Road early Friday that the car belonged to his girlfriend's father. Police say he appeared to be turning around when he backed into the ditch. The car wasn't damaged, but because McCroskey had no permit, the car had to be impounded.
The truck driver, 52-year-old Elton Napier, asked the youth where he was from. He said he was visiting from California to see his girlfriend.

I have a ton of old photos from my blood that I want to keep safe on my computer. What is the best and easiest way to do this? Please describe in detail.
You can buy a scanner that has an inevitable document feeder (so you don't have to scan each one individually) or you can go to a business services outlet where they will do it.
If you have a lot of photos buying a scanner would in all likelihood cost less that paying them to do it for you.
Good photo scanners with feeders can be expensive ($250 & up). You could just buy a good trait single page scanner & set yourself a plan to scan 10 or 20 photos a day until you're done.
I would recommend something like this Canon piece from Best Buy:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8987411&st=scanner&type=commodity&id=1218006354764
Great thing about purchasing from Best Buy is that you can try it out & return it for a full refund if not happy. They have a great "no questions asked" reparation policy that ranges from 14 to 30 days (ask when you buy it.
I know some people that bought a scanner .... scanned all their photos & then returned it for a full refund.

I'd like to have knowledge of creative ways to display photos other than using the standard frame.
I just found a bunch of old photos from years ago- some of them are fully large- like 8 x 10 or even bigger.
Are there any albums (that aren't that evil kind of magnetic viscous albums) that can hold large pictures? The albums I have only accommodate up to 4 x 6.
What crafts stores (or websites) do you go to?
Is it place that you shouldn't write on the backs of photos unless you use an acid-free pen. Is my papermate ball location acid-free? I mean I've written on the backs of photos before, and it's not like it demolished the photo. Can I write very lightly on the back using ballpoint pen?
Ok, that was a reckon barrage of questions. Thanks so much for your help!
The first troop I purchased scrapbooking items was from Creative Memories. They are a great American company that offer a miscellany of albums, pages, page protectos, die-cuts, stickers and much more. They have a great selection of items that would business beautifully with your old photos such as heritage albums. I would suggest that you get a 12x12 or 15x15 album since you have larger photos. I also suggest visiting Wal-Mart, JO-Ann Fabrics ect., Michaels and your nearby scrapbook store for tools and materials. All the stores mentioned above have a great selection of scrapbooking materials.
To explanation your question, yes, only use a acid and lignin-free pen if writing on the backs of your photos...Also when your scrapbooking, only use acid and lignin-relieved of products. It will help from your items turning yellow with the process of time. I wouldn't suggest using your ball-nub pen on the backs of your photos unless it says on the package. If you are searching for unique frames, visit your local skill store. They have blank frames that you actually can "dress-up" by adding paper, emblishments, ect.
OK champion luck! Scrapbooking is great!
So you have photos. Old photos, new photos, digital photos and more.
Leaf through your old photos them into your computer.
Print your old and new photos and save them in a photo album. Yes you can keep them in your computer or use an online photo sharing tool but nothing beats a photo album.
You can even go to eBay.com to find huge vintage photo albums.
