Joe Gjerstad’s 57 years old now, and that first huddle signaled his lifelong love affair with cars — collector cars, classic cars, convention cars — the most special of the auto family.

The Silverdale resident has just opened Old Denomination Garage in the Port Orchard Industrial Park. It is a gleaming, new facility that allows him to play out his passion to deftly and absolutely tinker with the aged automobiles until they purr like young kittens, and to “recommission” others that might have been sitting in garages untouched for years and are yearning for new person.

“I’ve been fond of cars for a long time,” said Gjerstad, who has steel-melancholy eyes and is quiet and reserved.

He walks through his new 3,800-square-foot garage. It’s dapper, well-lit, almost like an office. To the side is a shining, turquoise ’67 Chevelle Super Sport, its hood up waiting. The shopper wants it to run smoother.

How does one get pictures out of a old photo album without destroying the pictures?

The old photo albums that I am referring to are the kind-hearted where you put a picture on a sticky cardboard and cover, I believe, with a piece of cellophane or plastic. After a few years the pictures become stuck in the photo album and are almost out of the question to remove without ripping the pictures.

I fitting went through this - for 2 years....remounting into acid free albums and pages....ended up with 15 albums......

Anyway - go to a reputable scrapbooking store or a major office supply store and look for adhesive remover in the portfolio aisle. It is expensive but will easily remove your pictures.

How can I locate an original owner of an old photo album?

A few years ago, my economize on's office was movinginto a new space. The office that was moving left behind boxes of trash. Inside the gurry was an old photo album, the photos were taken around the 1940's. The only clue as to who the owner could have been was one old picture with the ladies name and address in the back (she lived in Chicago)
How would I go about decision relatives so that I can return the album to her family? This lady would probably be in her 80's if she were still alive. I am in the process of writing to the contemporary owners of the house. If that backfires, what would I do?

First, go to Zabasearch.com
perfect as much information as you have on the woman and or her family and see if you get a phone number.

Write her at the Chicago, she or family may still live in the crib.

If that fails, go to Zabasearch.com and type in the information you have about the woman.

How do i remove an old photo album from Yahoo 360 and load a new one?

I have pictures on Yahoo 360, but would like to substitute for the album with a new one I just created. Help appreciated, thanks!

If the new album that you made is in your Yahoo Photo Albums era, just click on the SHARE PHOTOS link in that module in the upper right corner of your 360 summon forth. Then on the page it takes you to...find the album that you have in there and dont want to show anymore and click the drop down box next to it and choose PRIVATE/Perfectly ME. YOU will be the only one that sees that photo album in your 360 page now. Then click the ADD PHOTOS button and find the album that you want to share now. Follow the instructions like you did for the first album that you shared. Dont leave behind to click save when done. Make sure that your viewing permissions for your new album is set to PUBLIC in BOTH places....your Yahoo Photo Albums point AND in your sharing of albums in your 360 page. If they aren't BOTH set to public...people wont be able to see your new album.

And don't taking....Yahoo Photos is shutting down in the Fall...so you're going to have to move those photos out of there and into a new hosting site ultimately. One they are moved out of Yahoo Photos...they wont be able to be seen on your 360 page anymore....unless you move them to Flickr which is owned by Yahoo. As far as I've seen...Flickr is the only other way of sharing photos like we have been. I have my photos stored on Photobucket.com....but there is no choice to "share your photos from Photobucket.com" in the 360 page....just the chance to use Flickr.
