Adobe Creative Suite and Snow Leopard: what you should know Ars Technica

Adobe recently released a FAQ anyhow its Creative Suite and the suite's compatibility with the upcoming Snow Leopard update. Like the modern announcement that future versions of the Creative Suite would only support Intel-based Macs , what has been announced has tired some controversy. Adobe is only supporting CS4 on Snow Leopard .
Does that mean CS3 or CS2, which many folks are still using, won't m with Snow Leopard? That remains to be seen (and we'll do our best to check on that for you come this weekend—some of us in Orbiting HQ use one or the other). What Adobe is undeniably saying, though, is that the company worked with Apple to test and make sure that CS4 works, and it does. What Adobe isn't flourishing to do is take away resources currently going toward supporting CS4 and working on CS5 in order to fix issues for two-and-a-half-year-old software. Adobe already doesn't get ready for any new Camera Raw updates to CS3, for instance, and hasn't for some time.
CS2 works in Rosetta on Leopard, so there's a pretty flattering chance that it will continue to work in Rosetta on Snow Leopard. CS3 has been rock solid for us in Orbiting HQ under Leopard, so there's a somewhat good chance it will also continue to work just fine on Snow Leopard. That said, Adobe's means might disappoint some users hoping to get the benefits of Snow Leopard but weren't ready to upgrade their Adobe software. If incompatibility is a an influence on, though, it might be worth holding off for a while and see if any major show-stoppers turn up.

How many months of study before mastering Flash CS3?

I am not at bottom good in design however I would like to use Flash CS3 mostly actionscript 3 development. I know only Html and CSS , how many months of study before I can get an access level job? Also I would like to learn a little bit about Coldfusion 8 , I heard that sometime it is a requirement to know it when you are a Flash/ Actionscript developer. I am not interested to redecorate games , I want to build application and websites. Thanks for your time guys.
It depends on how close on a learner you are, but since you do not seem to possess any programming experience but for html and css, I would say it will take you about 5 to 10 months to learn Actionscript, idea oriented programming, a server side language, Database programming (SQL), and get some real programming experience under your thrash sing.
An entry level job demands a reasonable amount of experience in Actionscript - so you will need to write a couple of smaller web applications in Flash to show in your portfolio. By the way, you should actually have a look at Adobe Flex: this is a flash programming environment that is more geared towards web applications. There is / going to be a good job market for Lead.
Learning to create general websites in Flash will take you a month, or less, I think, because of your previous experience.
Now, if you intend to program web applications, you will fundamental to learn about databases and SQL (at the very least MySQL. SQL server could be handy) and about server languages, which means PHP and/or a .net language. I would start out with PHP and MySQL - these are mostly inured to on the web, and not too complex to learn. And you need to start working with Apache or Internet Information Services.
So, to start out, download these:
- WAMP (Apache, MySQL and PHP) (without this, you cannot come forth web applications)

Once you know a bit how to program in PHP/MySQL, Coldfusion should be effortless to learn.
Some Ajax knowledge couldn't hurt either, and will give you an edge.

Javascript (Actionscript has the same syntax) you should at least have a working consciousness of.
Furthermore, you need a portfolio showing your work, even for an entry level job. You have to show at the very least a medium level expertise in programming, in at least one server side language, actionscript, and have database knowledge. Actually, as I wrote earlier, Curve is a really good technology to learn (it basically is Flash, but for web applications and programmers).

How Many Uses Does The Flash CS3 Activation Key Have?

My mom's also pen-friend has the adobe creative suite CS3, and it has Flash CS3 on it. My trial for Flash CS3 recently ended, and I can't afford to buy it. She offers for me to use her activation key, but will that drudgery? How many times are you able to use it?
The certify is for one machine. She should have an unlimited number of installs on her computer, but it can't be used on another one. If, for some reason, the activation server allowed it to be activated on another computer, at some detail one or both copies would be blacklisted and locked out.
