Epson Printer?

I have right-minded installed my new epson 3800 printer. When I printed off a few sheets with print on. I noticed that the printing starts off in a straight score then gradually goes up towards the right hand side of the paper. I thought at first that I had not loaded the paper correctly, but after reloading the stationery feed and adjusting it several times I find that the problem still exists.

I have been using printers for many years and have never come across this kind of problem before. Has anyone an idea as to what may be causing this to happen? Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

my IT part always tell me to unload the software then re-install it which is zero help whatsoever but that's the IT guys for you.

having said that i had printer tumult on friday did the above & hey presto it now works.

my mom bought a epson printer around dec. and it does not employment well it comes out with lines everytime i print even with full ink inserted. I was a off the shelf printer preview that was on sale and my mom bought it (now you recall why) im using a 98 printer cord? to connect to my pc but when i asked people at bestbuy they said it does not essentials about how old the cord is......

is the printer broken and how do i fix it? bring it to best buy or what? (the 30 day guarentee expired already if you can tell and i despritaly needed a printer since then.

its a epson stylus cx6000 all-in-one and i use it between all 3 pcs (vista laptop, and 2 xp computers) so whats misuse here?

You require to be sure about the ink level.
Try cleaning the nozzles using the software's method. I assume you have printer's software installed. Some printer's will story inaccurately the level of ink if you remove the print cartridge before their empty.
Calibrate the printer. Run a test page. If that doesn't effort. Remove the printer's software and and reinstall it. This will cause the printer to make the proper configuration and adjustment. I recommend that you buy new ink cartiages. Take a cotton tip and take a bath inside the cartridge holders.

How do you set an Epson printer to greyscale or just black ink?

I have an EPSON Stylus C120 Printer, and I've run out of color ink. I once in a blue moon use color ink anyway, so I don't want to bother to replace it, just want to use the black ink. I checked the properties tab of the printer, I don't see any button that allows me to click 'greyscale' or principled black ink. Is it not possible to do so with this type of printer, and I'll be forced to go shell out more money for darn color ink?

That would be because you cannot. Epson printers use identity to print black.

The colour is used to darken and sharpen black ink to create a truer freshen up.
This feature is part of the printers firm ware and cannot be overridden.

You do need to replace the colour cartridges in charge to continue printing.
