Digital photography workshop Chipley Bugle

An all-day digital photo workshop, designed for both origin and advanced photographers who wish to learn more about photographing the natural world, will be held Saturday, October 10.

The workshop will be taught by Bill Boothe, a gifted naturalist and wildlife photographer.  You may visit his website at NatureInFocus.com to view some of his photos.

Boothe and his woman Marcia now reside in the Florida Panhandle, an area where wildlife and wildflowers abound. Around every bend of the entr, something new and fantastic beckons them to stop and take photographs of Florida ’s rare and beautiful plant and fleshly species. Through the camera lens, they share their vision of the inner beauty of nature that surrounds each of us.

Boothe began his practised photographic career in the early 1990s. His photos have won numerous awards and have been published in nature-oriented books, magazines, and websites. Through his unsophistical history classes and wildlife photography workshops, he has inspired others to become better stewards of our natural world. As an powerful supporter of environmental causes, he has donated time and images to conservation organizations.

Digital Photography?

I would like to get into digital photography in a serious way. I've got my SLDR camera + accessories and am studying my exposures and central lengths. I've heard of amateur photographers getting noticed, even selling their work. How does one get started? Should I start some website and pile my photos? What's the best way to get noticed? And how do you actually go about selling them?
...........
of course, I meant DSLR camera.
Thanks for the answers sofar. Any budding digital photographers here have a blog area with their photos and details of how they took the picture? If so, also grateful if you could leave your blogsite so I can have a look and see how it's supposed to be done. Many thanks for all your answers thusfar!

Let me start by saying this: it's very critical to sell photographs. That being said, the easiest way to get started is to do a blog. You can post images there and describe what's in the pictures and how you did the shots. Also, PBase is an online photo gallery where you can outstanding up and start uploading images. There is some amazing stuff there - definitely worth looking at even if you don't sign up. Then, there are online assets weigh up agencies. I would suggest Alamy because it's relatively easy to get started. Then, finally, check into a local photo staff. Clubs often have competitions in different categories, and these things are a good learning opportunity. You can see what others are doing and you can learn from judges comments. Sometimes, you may get to reveal photos with the club for sale at local municipal buildings, etc. Good luck!

Where can I learn about the digital photography?

I am in fact interested in learning about digital photography. Can anyone suggest me some good eBooks on digital Photography tips and digital Photography tutorials. so that i can learn step by agreeable with about digital photography Secrets.

As an individual I prefer real books since you can carry them about with you.

"How Digital Photography Works, Second Edition" by Ron Spotless

"Hands-On Digital Photography" by George Schaub

There are innumerable "How To" books on digital photography. Proper check your local library.

The Owner's Manual for your camera is also a good source of information.

You can find tutorials at http://www.adorama.com. At most click on AIRC (Adorama Imaging Resource Center) and choose a topic.

What is the difference between photography and digital photography?

Some colleges deficiency to know if I want to major in photography or digital photography. Besides the use of two different cameras, what the real difference?

They are ignoring the to be sure that there is only Photography (anything else is a branch of photography) and catering to the whims of a generation that doesn't want in-depth instruction. -They make more long green giving the ignorant what they want rather than actually taking the time to properly educate them.
The difference isn't so much the camera as it is the recording vehicle. One is a photosensitive chemical reaction (film) and the other is a photosensitive electronic sensor (digital). If you know Photography you know both.
