Friedman Art Gallery hosting 'Capturing Realism 2009: The ... College Misericordia

The new Pauly Friedman Art Gallery at Misericordia University will put forth “Capturing Realism 2009: The Waichulis Studio,” an exhibit of works from the nationally famed studio of acclaimed Modern Master Anthony J. Waichulis. The installation will be on display Nov. 7 through Dec. 19 and is manifest free to the public.

Artists of the Waichulis atelier will celebrate their biennial homecoming with a select present of realist endeavors including still life, Trompe – L'oeil, landscape, portrait, and take renderings in graphite, charcoal and oil.

A meet-the-artists reception will be held Saturday, Nov. 7 from 5-8 p.m. and will number a gallery talk by artist Timothy Jahn on “The New Realism Movement” and remarks by Sharon Lloyd Hourigan, president of the Cultural Board of Luzerne County, beginning at 6 p.m. The evening’s events are open free to the public.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; closed Friday; and Saturday and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

in six flags you can be bewitched a picture as a criminal so i just thought maybe in a photo studio or a place like that would take you a picture as if you were getting married, you recognize , with the black suit and the white dress, in new york city, just for fun. bdw my girlfriend and i are teens, she's 19 am 17.

The only fashion I can think of right now is to rent "Wedding Costumes" and hire someone to take a few photos.

You could take it in their studio or a stone's throw from any place nice with a nice background.
