NEW YORK — Comparable mullets, regrettable tattoos, metal mouths and goofy grins.

Such long-lost looks were never meant to be seen by anyone except those flipping through the pages of an old blood album or studying the photo frames on the fireplace mantel.

But now, Americans who grew up long before the Internet opened GI Joe lives to the world are digging up dusty boxes for photos to share on Facebook and other sites — sometimes to the chagrin of kith and kin members and schoolmates appearing in group shots.

Most people sharing photos from their past are unreservedly having fun, and it can even serve as some form of collective healing.

"There's definitely a bit of exhibitionism involved," said Brandon Van Der Heide, an Ohio State University professor who studies the collective implications of the Internet. "It's a way for people to connect to something that's familiar and laugh at themselves."

Nikki Smith, a 37-year-old Facebook operator from Paducah, Ky., flipped through the scrapbooks she pieced together as a teenager and began scanning the old photos into her computer. The images took her back 20 years to the days of big skin of one's teeth, oversized sweaters, Air Jordan sneakers and aviator sunglasses.

How can I copy/paste photos from online photo studio album?Right click doesn't work & MS-Paint quality not gud?

When I paste photos from online photo studio album ,on Binge brush(Start->Programs->Accessories->Paint),picture doesn't at all turns out to be good.
Could anybody let me recollect,is there any other alternative to paste photos in *.jpeg or *.bmp formats?
I could atleast managed to get them on MS-word.

Also if u r using browser like safari/firefox then u can hold the mouse left click on the epitome from the site and drag it , then the photo will be opened in new tab where u can right click and select save as ..

hey!! you have to ethical drag and drop the photo you want from any online photo studio album to any hard drives or to your desktop. It will be of good quality and in jpeg constitution.

If you went to a account studio how long did it take for the photos to be online for viewing?

Which studio did you go to?

I know Sears usually takes less than a day but today I went to Olan Mills.

I would mark it depends on when you got the pictures taken. Holiday, weekend, or weekday. I would think 1-3 days during the trade week. I usually go to JC Penney, but don't view online anymore because of the cost.
