What makes the iPad an astonishing device for photographers is not just the large LED backlit display, but also the many features it shares with the iPhone, such as being clever to view photos no matter how you orient the iPad, the ability to pinch & zoom to zoom in on a picky detail portion of a photo or to slide your finger to go forward or back through your collection, and the ability to get photos into the iPad either through the USB cable, downloading from an email, or using the elective Apple Camera Connector kit to download directly from your camera.Photo albums are laid out as thumbnail ‘stacks’ and a sudden pinch & zoom will spread out each a stack, revealing the individual photos within. It’s a great way to get a rapid peek into each stack before opening up the album. The iPad also includes a beautiful slideshow player that makes showing off your images that much more authority and the wide 178-degree angle of view means that your images will still look dynamic even for onlookers.

For my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary I am planning to get them a monogrammed photo album. Their original wedding photo album was ruined years ago, so I thought this would be a thoughtful and useful gift. However, I cannot find a photo album that holds all 8x10's! (which I emergency because their original photos are all 8x10's)
Ideally I would like it to be 50th wedding anniversary themed with the possibility of being personalized (engraved). BUT I trouble something quick and haven't been able to find ANYTHING, so as long as it is gold and holds 8x10's, I will take it!
Please help me out! Links would be great, or if you have seen one in stores, let me understand where!!! Thanks!
I will select a best answer, so don't worry about not getting point! :o)
I would also like to keep it under $50 if feasible, but show me anything you can find...I'm a little desperate.

Our wedding was on a very tight-fisted budget. My parents have passed and his are divorced. Only my husbands father helped us out by paying for the eatables and drink at the reception. This was an incredible help to us and we totally appreciated it. Other than that we paid for the rest 100%. In bills mostly, but about 20% on credit cards that we are paying off . His mother didn’t help in any way…financially, emotionally or physically. I knew she would not balm with paying for anything. She loves to tell people how everything she has is paid for and she took my husbands dad to the bank in their divorce and got every last dime. As well as her being a 25 year pharmacologist…she is very well off, but since I have been with my husband has never once gotten him so much as a birthday or Christmas gift because she says that they are a waste of her money. So we knew nummular help from her was not happening. I had asked her over the course of months just a few things…non monetary things that would only take a meagre amount of her time. She always said no and had an excuse. Well a week before the wedding I asked her if she could call all the people that have not rsvp’d to see if they were coming to help get sure counts. I work at night, so it would be easier for someone who is off at night to call people when they are typically not working. Her response was…”well, “Margaret” you sine qua non to hire a wedding coordinator if you cannot get these things done on your own…I have a career and telemarketing is not part of it”. I was stunned and just said, okay acknowledge gratitude you anyway and we will see you next Saturday. I am still shocked about it. Flash forward. 8 weeks after. She calls and asks where her photo album is (we sent her a framed 8x10 wedding pic). I grass on her that we only got one album that is ours and was part of our wedding package. She says that my husbands brother and sister were considerate enough to make sure the mothers got an album and I neediness to do the same. I told her I would call the photographer and get back to her. I called and they are $400 for an album to be put together after the fact. So my husband called her and told her that there was no way we can afford this and that we could get together some very likeable photos for her and also suggested that since she did not get us a wedding gift, she could save that money and just get herself the album. But we would not be buying one because we do not have the money. She basically yelled at him and told him she wants the album and he needs to go get it. Luckily he stood his territory and told her that if she wanted one, this is the name and number of the photographer and she could call and order one. She told him we were inconsiderate and selfish brats and Sometimes non-standard due to god her other two children do not behave like this and hung up on him. I feel that we should just ignore her until she apologizes and my husband wants to confront her and castigate her where to go and how to get there. I think that will accomplish nothing. How would you deal with this situation? Do we suck it up and get her this album, putting another $428 after tax on our credit cards or barely let her get it herself if she wants it?
Yes, she really said "telemarketer". We had get together a couple of days before the wedding..where I did bear witness foods and me and the rest of the wedding party all put together the favors and programs. She was invited and told my husband that asking people to put together our favors is ungallant and tasteless. That our wedding is not a part time job for our friends and family. Funny, his dad and stepmom had a great time hanging out with everyone and chatting the tenebriousness up. She is just a very different being in my opinion.
That's naughty! Do NOT order the album for her and don't say another word about it to her. She has the information your husband gave her, so if she really wants one she will get it herself.
@DigitalDiva: Unless their photographer gave/sold them imitation rights to the images, scanning and printing their own would be a violation of copyright and could get them in trouble.

My wedding photographer saved my images at 8x12 therefore I can only impress 8x12, however my photo album only holds 8x10 and I have tried to resize the image to 8x10 and it has not worked, what am I doing wrong, please help :-(
When I set it 2400X3000 and 8x10 the depict gets distorted, is there any way to do this with having to put a border on the images?
You can crop certainly, but as the images will be already professionally framed and cropped to ostentation best at 8x12, cropping is going to detract from the image quality. I would seriously suggest that you find another album - one that will control the images untouched. It would seem to be the most logical and most effective solution.
