Where can I buy a cheap red photo album?
Oct 26, 2007 by Nora D | Posted in Photography
I have about 400 4x6 photos from Cardinals games in 2006. I would like to put them in a photo album or albums. I don't like leather or gold and I don't penury to spend a ton of money on the album. A scrapbook style album might work since I may want to include ticket stubs, but I am not set on that.
I got mine at Walmart, you could also into a craft store, for a scrapbook album.

What is the name of the photo album refill pages that Target used to sell?
Sep 28, 2008 by Sandra J | Posted in Other - Business & Finance
Does anyone certain the brand or where they are sold now?
They hold 6 4x6 photos per page -3 on each side- and they have a margin for notes.
I in reality need to find these as I don't want to switch pages in the middle of an album.
Thank you :-)
I can't find any online as and as objective no longer stock them any that are out there are likely to be end of line and as such unlikely to be advertised anywhere.
Other than striking lucky on e-bay I can only suggest that you either find an adequate alternative or use a lot of shoe-leather going round various stores to see if they have any left - smaller photo outlets would be more liable to still have them than big stores. the big stores would probably quickly sell off discontinued stock, a small shop decent might have some tucked away.

My photo album doesn't take 4x6 prints...?
Jul 29, 2009 by lovesmesumcake | Posted in Cameras
I bought two photo albums today that I undeniably like, though when I got home and tried to insert photographs into them, I noticed that the 4x6 inch prints that I normally get don't fit. I monotonous the plastic spaces with a ruler and they are about 3.5x5 inches each. Is this a standard photo print size that I've never heard of?
Is 3.5x5 a archetype photo print size that my local printing place (either a Walgreens or a specialty camera store, depending on how much I see like spending at the time) will be able to make? Or will I have to cut the edges off of photos to make them fit? Please help, I deep down do like these photo albums and I'd love to use them!
Bonus question!
What are some good photo processing places in the Greenwich Village court of New York City (the West Village in particular)? Ideally I'd like both a nice place that'll do the job claim and a cheap place that I can go to if I'm low on cash.
Ignore the part about New York City, I asked it as a separate question...
I remeasured the slots in the photo album and the side that I initially said was 3.5 inches is absolutely closer to 4 inches, though it's still small enough that a 4x6 print doesn't quite fit.
Also when I talk about prints I more mean prints of 35mm veil (and occasionally 120, though I don't normally put those photos into albums). Also I don't live anywhere near a Walmart (which I know is gracious of weird), so please don't recommend that to me.
You are straightaway, 3.5x5 is an old standard print size. 4x6 has become the standard since around the middle 1990's, maybe before.
When I was doing custom face printing in the late 1980's, the machine prints were all 4x6, but that was the lab I worked for. The reason 4x6 became so popular was that they are the exact epitome ratio of the 35 mm film, 3:2, so the whole image was printed and nothing was lost to cropping.
You may want to look for some more new photo albums that will hold the larger prints.
In Manhattan, I would suggest you take a walk through B&H Photo and see what they have on their shelves.
