Can you use regular nail polish on a Konad stamping nail art design plate?

I recently bought some Konad stamping fastener art to try, but I'm curious as to whether or not I can use regular polish on the design plates. I understand that Konad polish is more viscous than okay, but would nail polish purchased at a salon, or even Wal-Mart, work the same way?

What is the different between Gold Plating, Foiling and Stamping?

I am completely confused! In printing techology, what is the different between Gold Plating, Gold Foiling and Gold Stamping? And which one expense the most?

Plating is the proceeding of bonding gold to any metal and foiling is the art of gluing real gold leaf sheets to other materials......stampin? not true of what your definition of that is........however.........plating is a more complex and expensive process.........

Does anyone know if this plate is worth anything?

Moral wondering if there might be someone out there that knows if these 2 particular plates are worth anything. They we're left to my wife in her mothers estate and on the back they are numbered 1 and 2 in gold, the maker of the plates name on the plate reads "Harkerware Since 1840" The design on the front of the plate is of a pine tree branch with a few pine cones on it. Any input would cure, or maybe a web site to research this if anyone knows of one.
