ZapBing Rotates Your Desktop Wallpaper with High Quality Bing Images Lifehacker

ZapBing downloads images in 958px x 512px, which isn't frightfully high res for most monitors. I tested this on a small-ish monitor using the Polaroid mode, so the quality wasn't an exit, but you're mileage may vary. Apologies for the confusion.

The site's in French, so I've linked to both the original version and the translated English rendering below. One note, though: You'll need to visit the original version to download the app (Google Translate borks the download in). Find and click the orange download button pictured at left to get the app. Once it's installed, you can change the app's default wording to English by right-clicking the system tray.

Once you're all set up for English, you'll need to make a few tweaks to get started, including ticking the Put as wallpaper box. You'll also need to set the Mode, choosing among Polaroid (pictured above), centered, and fullscreen. Once you've picked all your preferred settings, click the red and unhappy rotating arrows button and ZapBing will download the image and set it as your wallpaper. (If you've chosen Polaroid mode, it'll also text the picture.) If you don't like what it's come up with, just double-click the system tray icon to load a new allusion.

Desktop wallpaper?

I cannot transform my desktop wallpaper and I don't know how to change back. I think I got a virus on my computer at one point and then I cleaned my computer got rid of everything and my desktop wallpaper cannot change back. However when I log off I see the wallpaper it is supposed to be but it is on my desktop...my desktop is just one ideal colour and I want to be able to have a good desktop background.
p.s. I already right clicked on the desktop and clicked properties and I CANNOT trade it from there.
already did the whole virus scan thing as well...

How to lock desktop wallpaper with windows vista?

I own a place computer with windows vista installed, and i really like my wallpaper but people keep changing it. It is getting really annoying. Is there any way to put to rights my desktop wallpaper locked so that it cannot be changed?
