Is one of those "everything but the pantry sink" kind of books — except in this case the kitchen sink does make an devious appearance, given that Dickstein discusses Art Deco industrial design as well as the dance extravaganzas of Busby Berkeley; the novels of Zora Neale Hurston, Henry Roth and, of process, John Steinbeck; gangster movies and screwball comedies; the music of Bing Crosby; and the photography of Dorothea Lange and Margaret Bourke-Bloodless.The kneejerk way to review a colossus like this is to chip away at it, to whittle it down to one's own intellectual size by regretfully pointing to what Dickstein left side out: What about comic strips or radio shows or doggerel poetry? (See? I'm not above such tricks.) But, Dickstein puts a stage to this kind of gamesmanship at the outset when he tells readers that he "made no effort to cover everything." Instead, he says, "this was a series of derogatory choices, focusing on work that genuinely engaged me."
You earn the right

When you position a clip art image you are essentially purchasing the right to use that image, right? Is that use limited? Is using it as a logo in some way claiming it as your own? Or is it okay as lengthy as you don't try to trademark the image? This is for a small LLC with about 3 employees, if we grew we would probably pay someone to create a new logo.
You have to corroborate the license that is granted when you purchase the Clip Art - it should be part of the FAQs or embedded in the purchase confirmation. Some restrict the task use of the art while others are silent. Here is a link to a good site that talks about Clip Art use:

I'm doing a fraud wheel project for pre-schoolers for Father's Day and want to add a image of a son helping to wash his dad's car, or any other image of a son helping his father do another chore.
I'm indulgent of confused on what you are looking for but have you checked Microsoft Clip Art. Sometimes they have more clip art on there than in your program. I'm sure on the main recto they will have fathers day clip art things. Here is a link.

When I go into Brief conversation or Powerpoint and insert an animated clip art image, I can find the image I want on my webpage there. But I don't know how to get it onto my webpage.
put the image into your Discussion doc or PPT presenation, then save the doc or ppt as a web page ("save as" has a .html option).
When you save it, Microsoft will invent the animated gif for you.
Do not upload the word or ppt version of hte webpage, as microsoft likes to add a lot of useless, propietary crap into their web pages. in place of, just find the image that you were hoping to produce, and upload just that onto your server.
using a regular text editorial writer, reference the image with your typical <img src="nameofmyfile.gif" /> type element.
It's a hoaky way of doing it, but it works!
