I view you can pull down tools, internet options and
erase search history and in the yahoo tool bar you can click
the left arrow to obliterate recent searches, however, in the lower area search, whenever you start typing www. the
previous searches come up. How do cancel those searches??
go to embellish, internet options, Content tab, AutoComplete, then click ClearForms. That will get rid of all you need and more.

How do I clear my search history from my favourites without clearing my passwords?

I use Internet explorer 7 and Yahoo machine bar. When I clear my search history from the options tab in tools it also clears my passwords but the search history remains in the favourites.
A Down-to-earth way to clear cache from any browser is to use 3 rd party tool such as CCleaner if u want one just click on below relate (its a direct download link)
you can set ur need ie deleting password or cache bla bla etc

Does anybody identify how to turn off the history suggestion in the google search toolbar in Internet Explorer 8. I don't mean the searching history but the website history thats stored. It's driving me mad please help!
go to your google toolbar, click the grab some shut-eye pointing arrow and click clear history. Alternatively, go to the google homepage, type a,b,c,d,e,f,g through the alphabet and everytime around your cursor over each word/website and click delete.
