Web designers are inveterately pretty much in tune about this: the number one most painful aspect of designing a Web site is getting it to function and set forth the same way on multiple browsers.
Microsoft Internet Explorer, particularly, is legendary for the leviathan problems it poses for coders. Worse yet, this troubled browser is still in use by the mass, purely because it has always been pre-packaged onto Windows systems.
Google today is introducing to Web developers an early rendition of a new open source plug-in called Google Chrome Frame , which updates the old browser with HTML5 functionality and other key technologies.
“Modern JavaScript performance improvements and the emergence of HTML5 have enabled web applications to do things that could previously only be done by desktop software. One dispute developers face in using these new technologies is that they are not yet supported

Internet Explorer-How can I set content advisor on certain accounts but not others?
Aug 25, 2007 by Kitty | Posted in Security
I have 3 buyer accounts for Internet Explorer. One of them, used by a minor, is a limited account. I have blocked certain pages I don't crave him visiting thru Content Advisor, which I have set a password for. This works great for the limited account, but it also affects my full access "computer administrator" account by putting the same restrictions on my account.
I recollect I can override the blocked pages by putting in my password, but I'd rather not if I don't have to. But if I set content advisor for one account, it is enabled for all the accounts, no worry what type it is.
How can I set content advisor on one account only?
Use the parental controls button. First obsession it does is bring up all the accounts on the computer and ask which one you want to use it on.

Why is Internet Explorer 8 putting previous email addresses in the address bar when I compose a Yahoo email?
Dec 25, 2008 by seasidesunset | Posted in Problems with Service
The new Internet Explorer 8 Beta manifestation is causing the problem. It's an intrusion into my control of Yahoo when I send emails and has already caused embarrassment when I sent a new email with a sometime address Explorer 8 put in the box that I did'nt notice.
Also how do I complain both to Microsoft and Yahoo!
Cheers guys.
Yahoo! Cannot curb/edit/change the email address that an auto-form-filler is placing in that bar. However, it is always important to toady up to certain that you review your email message before you send it, as your email provider cannot be held responsible for what its servers are told to do by the advice entered.
Typically, auto-form-fillers (which IE8 comes with, as does the new version of Yahoo if the emails are in your in list) will use historical data to try to suggest the address you're attempting to put in, much like predictive text on a apartment phone.
Ultimately, the best 'defense' would be to either turn off any form-filling add-ons in your browser, or simply analysis what is in your To: line whenever you send an email (which you should do, anyhow).
