Most of Chief Marketing Catchpole Elisa Steele's presentation, before those in town for Advertising Week and streamed live online, was constructed to underscore that Yahoo cares about its users, with the reasonable presumption that advertisers will care about a company that can attract hundreds of millions of those users. Yahoo is already an Internet nightmarishness: the second largest property on the Web behind Google with 581 million visitors a month and 70 percent of the U.S. Internet natives stopping by on a regular basis.

But Yahoo's campaign is really about more than that. It's also about making a break from the past spectre of Yahoo as an out-of-control company that really didn't know what it wanted to be when it grew up.

This was clear in a question-and-correlate with talk back to a be accountable session following Steele's presentation when Bartz alternatively blasted the "cynicism" that seems to follow Yahoo everywhere but acknowledged that the convention has something to prove.

how do you clear your search recapitulation from the google homepage etc.

Internet Explorer
Tools > Internet Options
Ease tab > AutoComplete
Here you can clear forms and passwords and choose what you want it to store.

Firefox
Tools > Options or Rewrite > Preferences
Click the Privacy icon tab.
In the section for History you can choose what to remember. You can click the Clear Now button to out up. Choose Settings to select what you want to clear.

From the IE browser, click Tools/Internet Options/ Inexact (tab). Click Delete Files button, Clean your cookies and clean your History.

I scarceness to know how do I clear / delete the search history on the AVG software that is on my computer at work? I want to clear the pull down history just to the ethical of the AVG symbol on the toolbar!
Not, the toolbar, options, delete history. I've done that work Explorer. Thanks.

If you go to your explorer:

> c:
>> Documents and Settings
>>> {Your Alcohol Name}
>>>> Application Data
>>>>> AVGTOOLBAR

Delete the file called >> COMBOSEARCH

Make sure you have closed your Internet Explorer when you erase this file.
If you dont it will remember your history and just create a new file. This need to be done every time you thirst for to clear your history.

In Prospect for Microsoft Office, you can click the find button to help you search for a keyword in your messages. After you search for something, it gets stored in the drip down menu. How do you clear the drop down menu or delete a previous search term?
I have Office 2003. The first answer disposed doesn't help me, because I don't have those options in my Tools menu.

Go to "tools"..."Crying Search"..."Search Options"...and uncheck ..."Unveil search results as I type when possible"
