FCC seeks to keep Internet free, clear Chicago Tribune

-- The chairman of the Federal Communications Commission called for more bold action to keep online traffic moving freely, proposing two new government policies to prevent telecommunications companies from restricting Web sites and other services on the Internet.

The two new FCC rules would captain how Internet service providers manage their networks, enshrining so-called network neutrality into the energy's policy. Under the proposal from FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, network operators would be prohibited from discriminating against the typewrite of data traveling through their systems and would have to be clear about how they manage their networks.

The proposed rules, which have to be approved by the FCC, would apply to Internet access no business how it is delivered -- via cables or wirelessly.

"The rise of serious challenges to the free and open Internet puts us at a crossroads. We could see the Internet's doors halt to entrepreneurs, the spirit of innovation

Clear history???????

I perfectly fixed the internet at home.
My younger brother is learning computer and at school they teach him how to use internet.
I don't scantiness him to fool around when he is on internet at home. He has a limited account on my computer.
I would want to see the websites he visited.
Is it possible to obstruction him from clearing history????? I mean, maybe hide that clear history button or the internet option button or when he tries to clear, the computer does not do the occupation.
Or even if he clears his history,,,is it possible for me to still find out which websites he visited???.....I am the adminstrator on the computer.

How do I clear history at the forward and reverse arrows top left ?

Deleting and clearing history, and files, doesn't clear the register at the down arrow, by the forward and reverse top screen arrow buttons. Help ?
clear history does not clear it, as I mentioned.
I was hoping for a method that did not betoken shutting down the computer.
I will try reboot, later though.

I only just noticed the history there.
I always clear the others. Thanks !!!

I conceive of what you mean is the "previous" and "next" buttons. Just shut down the browser and reopen it and those addresses wil be cleared.

When I variety in a letter all the searches I have done starting with that letter appear and I want to clear them all.

Clearing history in my browser tool bar doesn't sway the google search history....

breed in the letter scroll down the list of things you have searched for (when they are highlighted) hit the del button on your key board till everything is gone
