By James Gaskin -- Chrome, the Google browser, made a squiffed profile entrance and quickly gained a following, especially for the snappy JavaScript processing. These tips for outstrip browsing with Chrome are from Jerri Ledford, co-author of Web Geek's Guide to Google Chrome , published this summer by Que.

Tabs in a browser aren't new, and Chrome follows Firefox and even Internet Explorer into the humanity of tabs. Chrome adds some new tricks, though. You can click and drag a tab off into it's own window at any time. You can drag tabs between uncrowded Chrome windows. Even more fun, you can drag any link up to the tab area and it will open a new tab.

Besides the JavaScript processing speed, Chrome uses some DNS pre-enchanting tricks to speed up browsing. When on a page with a dozen links, Chrome will rank the links in order of acceptance to anticipate your next click. The algorithms for this seem to be based on adwords and search history, but Google will not, of course, give details.

What steps do I deprivation to go through to de-activate Yahoo from recording a list of my browsing history. I've tried everything I can think of, to de-activate the browsing history, to no avail. Going through the standard steps of "tools", "delete browsing history" etc, etc, does nothing to get rid of the history of sites I have visited. Recognition you very much, to anyone that can help me with this.

First, let's hide-out Internet Explorer. Click Tools, click Internet Options, click the settings button under Browsing History and set History to 0 days. Zero (0) days absolutely means 1 day. Bottom line is that IE will always record, but will clear at the beginning of the next day. You can't change this unless you do some tricky system registry changes which I do not announce to. To clear History manually, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Delete under Browsing History. The browsing (search) history for the Yahoo! toolbar is easier. Click the settings button (avatar) on the Y! toolbar, click Toolbar Options and uncheck the expropriate boxes. Also you can click the settings button, uncheck the box for Remember Recent Searches and you can click Disencumber Recent Searches. You might want to look at the free Ccleaner utility (ccleaner.com). Cut out sure you uncheck the box to install Yahoo! toolbar during the install of Ccleaner. Make sure IE is closed when you run Ccleaner to get topmost history cleaning. Ccleaner will work with IE and other browsers.

it is very mild click on tools at the top in there is a name available history double click the history it will open a small window select all with ctrl+a or draging with mouse then hold close the button delete then press ok
