It’s usually translated as “war archive.” It sounds a little formal in English, but it’s a common element in anime and manga titles, such as Makai Senki Disgaea (“Fanatic World War Chronicle Disgaea”). No matter what anyone may think of it, that is the title of this manga, and we’re sticking with it! Anyhow… as if anyone isn’t reach-me-down to odd anime and manga titles already as it is – almost no explanation was truly needed in the first place, but there you go.
