Some gadgets unprejudiced hit the "awesome" button in the deep, lizard part of your brain. At an Nvidia meeting Friday, my "awesome" button got smacked insensitive by the Fujifilm FinePix REAL 3D W1, the world's first point-and-shoot, consumer 3D digital camera. It's expensive, somewhat gauche, and probably impractical. But it's really cool.
The W1 is a bit of a brick, sure, but who cares? It's 3D! The camera is black and glossy, and looks a elfin like a Sony Cybershot T-series with its big, slide-down shutter cover. It's much thicker than a Sony T-series (but still easily handheld) and it has - woah now - two lenses on the front. It uses those lenses to take two images, which it merges together into a 3D depiction.
The W1 takes both photos and videos in 2D and 3D mode. I took a bunch of 3D photos and recorded a 3D video. The 3D photos be stricken through in .MPO format, a new multiple-image format supported by Nvidia's 3D Vision kit ($199), and include a set of drivers and glasses, which repulse any monitor into a 3D device. The 3D videos are a pair of streams stored in a standard AVI container; the Nvidia 3D Foresightedness's software player knows how to merge them into a 3D movie.

What are the specifications I should focus on before purchasing a digital camera Incase of Sony /Nikon/Canon?

I would like to acquisition new digital camera Sony / Nikon / Canon; so could you please suggest me what are the key aspects I should inspect before I purchase like lenses type, optical zoom, Digital zoom and etc?
If you are looking for an adjustable camera, then it is vital to choose a camera that can use the most variety of lenses and bodies .... this will give you the most flexibitliy as you build a system.
If you are looking for a P&S camera, then the Nikon and Canon cameras use the most clich memory card .. the SD.
Look for a camera that has at least a 3x optical zoom (forget any reference to digital zoom .. ), has at least a 6MP sensor, and either a viewfinder or SI main film (both is better). If you an afford a camera that uses the state of the art Li-ion battery, so much the better.

How do I upload a video from my digital sony cybershot camera (8.1 mgpx) to youtube?

I've recorded video on my sony cybershot digital camera and dead tired uploading them to youtube, but it's not working. I have another KODAK camera and uploaded videos from there to youtube, but some how I'm unable to with sony.
I'm wondering if theres a conflicting setting I should set the camera to, or maybe adjust something so that I'm able to upload videos onto youtube.

YouTube accepts a count of different file formats. I'm quite sure that Sony cameras use the Mpeg 1 video codec, but I'm not positively sure if it's a compatible format for Youtube. The Youtube help link (below) might offer you some more insight.
Also, create sure your video is no more than 10 minutes in length or no larger than 100MB in size. If it is larger than 100MB (which it without even trying could be), then you should use Moviemaker or another program to convert/resize it to a more acceptable size and/or format.

I have a Toshiba laptop (A205) with OS Windows Vista. I am unfit to connect my Sony Digital Camera to my laptop through the USB because it does not recognize it.
