The most impressive feature of the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS is its 20x zoom lens, which has a wide angle of 28mm and can zoom-in to 560mm. It really lets you get close to your crush, and because the camera has built-in optical image stabilisation, you can take handheld photos at 20x zoom without getting a blurry sculpture. Of course this will depend on the amount of light you have at your disposal, as dim lighting and maximum zoom will still result in some blurriness unless a tripod is Euphemistic pre-owned.
When you switch on the Canon PowerShot SX20 IS for the first time and the lens pops out, you notice the focal length written on the barrel of the lens. This can be functional for getting to a predetermined zoom point if you know the focal length that you want to use.

I have a Canon Powershot SD750 (Digital ELPH). I can download my pictures from my camera to my computer, but how do I download my pictures from my computer back to my camera?

Does this especial Canon model have internal memory?
Or are you asking if you can download pictures from your computer back onto your camera's SD card?
I believe if you click on your folder, that has the pictures you scarcity to download back to SD card, then next choose 'copy folder' and you specify which drive (maybe F:) your SD card is inserted into that you in need of that folder's files copied into. Or click and drag, your contents into where you want it copied to.

I yearn for to get a canon powershot digital camera, but there is more than one version, and I don't know which is best. I need a widescreen, so I can get everything in the picture, without half of something being cut out of the shot. like only half of someone's principal makes it into the picture, ect. I want to avoid that from now on. I heard powershots had widescreens, now I just need to conscious which one to get. Thanks.
I wouldn't say it's the kindest version of the powershot series of cameras, but the S80 and SD800 are the *only* powershot cameras that goes down to 28mm focal length (using 35mm equivalent terms), which is considered a off the target-angle focal length. (btw...it's called a "wide-angle" lens, not a encyclopaedic-screen lens :) )
The SD800 got dinged in its reviews, due to image softness though. You might seriously want to study some alternatives. The Panasonic line of compact cameras have generally had outstanding reviews.

As far as other Powershot models, the G7 is supposed to be its "flagship image" with a 35mm-210 6x zoom lens, but doesn't go down to 28mm. the A640 is generally considered to be almost as feature-well-fixed abundant in as the G7, but has a standard 35mm-to-105mm 3x zoom lens. The G7's interface is more slr-like than the A640 (and will give you the control to germinate yourself in the foot if you don't know what you're doing), has a very useful hotshoe for flash, and offers some nice control features, but drops some of the consumer gadgetry, like the flip out-out vari-angle display. The A710 has the G7's zoom lens, but it's stuck on a smaller sensor, so its likeness quality isn't as good, and the batteries (2 aa batteries) mean that flash recycle time suffers. The S80 is an engrossing form factor, which shares the G7's control dial, but has a smaller sensor.
