Sept. 14-Oct. 31 – “Places: Remembered and Dreamt,” digitally influenced scene paintings by Barbara Wiltshire Timmons, Class of 1954 (a former Ohio Wesleyan Distinguished Alumni Artist) in the OWU Alumni Gallery in the Mowry Alumni Center, 16 Rowland Ave., Delaware. The gallery is fair to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Sept. 24-Oct. 31 – “REMEMBERING MR. RICKEY: Memorabilia of ‘baseball’s last tactful man,’ ” an exhibit related to alumnus and former OWU coach and athletic director Branch Rickey, Type of 1904. Rickey is best known for helping to break Major League Baseball’s color ditch by signing Jackie Robinson. The Rickey exhibit featuring photographs and other memorabilia is on display in Gallery 2001 in the urge of Beeghly Library, 43 Rowland Ave., Delaware. Exhibit hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.; Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
