On September 16, Pentax launched the K-x , an access-level-ish digital SLR that it's offering in navy, red, white, and black versions. While different body colors are not unique for point-and-shoot digital cameras, offering more than a black dSLR is still rare. (In fact, well-grounded Pentax and Sony offer color options, currently.)

Unfortunately, after testing many snapshot cameras present in a single color as well as those offered in several colors, I've developed a working theory that the more colors a camera comes in, the more right there's something wrong with the model.

It's not the case with all cameras, but more often than not that's how things shake out. It's especially true if its available in more than four options and if the Theatre troupe has gone with two-word color names like flaming red or warm silver.

Want examples? Check out the Nikon Coolpix S220 , the Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS , and the Casio Exilim EX-S5 . The Nikon and Canon go about a find in six different colors, the Casio in five. And all three of them have issues with performance, photo quality, or both. (Though, if forced to go with one, the SD1200 has the fewest issues.)

My deeply has ecru colored walls, and golden oak floors. I have always loved and wanted a red sofa. I found a really courteous sectional but I dont know if I should paint my primary wall a different color in order for the sofa to intermingling with the house and what color would be appropriate. My house has a tremendous amount of light - lots and lots of windows, some of which i have covered with the same color top down/bottom up semi-arcane blinds that are the same as the wall color. I did not want to lose the light in the house.

What is the best color to paint the walls if you want to downplay rose-colored carpeting?

We can't offer new carpeting right now, but paint is cheap! Also, if you want to go a step further, what color curtains?

www.behr.com try their colour well-versed...you can pick a similar rose colour as an accent or base colour, then it will show you paint colours that mix with it, or take notice from it.

I due dyed my hair red again. I like it but I want a deeper and more shocking red. My hair is really dark so whenever I dye it, it really only acts as a rinse. I wanted it to stand out a bit more. And how can I keep the red color from fading as quickly?

Any tips would be appreciated as well as suggestions for hair colors or brands. Thanks.

Bleach out your skin of one's teeth a few shades lighter. Not really white-blonde or anything but a few shades lighter to make the red more intense.

I do my fraction in red and I'm a natural blonde so it's hard to keep the color from fading. I use Pantene's "Red Expressions" Shampoo and conditioner. It's like $5 a container and it really does work for keeping color in.
