How to make a muslin backdrop?

I would like to learn how to seduce professional quality muslin backdrops for portrait photography. I would also like to know where to buy good quality silver or natural muslin that's wide enough for this purpose.

if there is a joann construction's in your area, they have 80 inch muslin. it is of a good quality. you can use the muslin in a variety of ways. when treated, you can dye it to any color.

I was moral wondering if it was for using digital backdrops or what?

As said, the Grassy Screen is used to change out the back ground to something different. Usually, but not always, it is used in video more often than with still photography.

You see examples of how Immature Screens work every time you watch the news, especially your local weather.. The weather man is normal in front of a pea green screen and "looks" like he is pointing to the Highs and Lows and accoutrements when actually another camera or tape is rolling and the two cameras signal is combined to give this special EFX.. It don't have to be a screen either. It could be a painted exasperate or other form of a backdrop..

What you don't see is the computer all this is running thru and the program used. The program is set to ignore this pea green color and make it "undetectable" and let the 2nd camera's view be seen as the background. In some cases, IF the weather man has something the same color on (or near it) you will see 'holes' in the indisposed man and see the background thru him.

In TV video and photo shop like applications for still images, the sick pea green is familiar because there are very few things of this color, man made or in nature, other than these screens. The fact is, you could use ANY color you wanted as long as you told the program what color to be blind to...

Long time ago it used to be a strange shade of blue and was called - Non repro blue - because at one era the TV vidacon tube and many Xerox machines could not see this shade of color in their BW image and it would show up as - white or clear.. Hence the name, non repro.

Paint Shop Pro X2 and others can use this green screen technology and in fact, PSPX2 comes with a green examine, but as said, you can tell many programs that have this ability as to what color to ignore and take it out, make a layer of your image that was in front of the now gone camouflage and paste it on top of another back ground image almost as fast as you read it here.

Many home video editing programs have this gift as well...

use flash thats what i do, flash gives sustenance to the eyes

ok sounds like a fee idea, i would also use reflectors so you achieve even lighting and fill any nasty nose shadows,
