Marijuana plantation found in NPA camp Visayan Daily Star

The Army's 3 rd Infantry Dividing yesterday said the New People's Army may be engaged in the illegal drug trade, after the discovery of a marijuana plantation and the delivery of dried marijuana leaves from an abandoned rebel camp in Igbaras town, Iloilo .

Capt. Devalue Andrew Posadas, 3 rd ID spokesman, said the marijuana plants were planted all over the abandoned mutineer camp, while others were planted in water containers.

Recovered at the rebel camp were half-a-kilo of dried marijuana leaves, three claymore mines, 270 rounds of M16 plunder live ammunition, a power generator set, an ICOM hand held radio set, assorted computer accoutrements and accessories, medical supplies, a homemade shotgun, and ammunition for caliber 30 and 50 vehicle guns, military records show.

The discovery of marijuana plants within the vicinity of the abandoned rebel encamp, and the recovery of dried marijuana leaves among the items buried by the NPA opens the possibility that they are involved in the resident drug trade, Posadas said.

SHould I get a Pentax pair of binoculars or a Nikon pair?

I was looking for binoculars, and I found two pairs in my budget vary (around $125), the Nikon Binoculars Action Extreme 8x40 for $121, and the Pentax Binoculars PCF WP II 8X40 for $149, so which one is better?

The Nikon has a wider interest of view than the Pentax, but the Pentax has a longer eye relief. If you wear glasses, the Pentax will do better for you. Otherwise the Nikon would seem to be the winner because of the price.

My charge is that neither of these have Fully Multi Coated lenses. The Nikon is only Multi Coated, the Pentax has no info on coating fount. Fully Multi Coated (FMC) lenses will give you the brightest images.

Nikon? Pentax? etc.

I also reccomend Bushnell, I got a duo of 16X30 for $39 and 7-15X25 for $49. I like the 7-15 but my 16X get more light with the bigger 30mm lens.

Im traveling to Aus and i need some good Binoculars..?

Im traveling to Aus and i shortage some good Binoculars but as there my first pair i wouldnt know what to go for i want i know nothing to high mag wise as i wont be using a tripod.

but yeah warning would be grand.

there for traveling so somethnig small would be ideal

i was thinking

Pentax ucf zoom II 8-16x21
or the papilio 8.5x21

or olympus wp1 10x25.
or the olympus zoom ones.

any remedy is greatfull price is not a concern just size and quality.

Herself i think the best binos are Steiner. You cant beat german engineering. I have several pairs of Steiner and they are choice. I would recommend the Steiner safari 8x22 or the Steiner Safari Pro 10x26 both are small and the quality is excellent.

I was accomplished to compare these Pentax binoculars with the Swarovski binoculars and can honestly say that although the Swarovski was better it was not enough better to make me spend twice the wherewithal. In fact my wife liked the Pentax binoculars even better than the Swarovski binoculars and she had no clue what the price difference was.
