Russia's Patriarch Increasingly Becoming Major Force In Politics RadioFreeEurope/RadioLiberty

I suspect that the stimulate of the Patriarch in Russia is an indication of the rise of the Eastern Christian Church. Vladamir Putin tenable believes that the fall of the Soviet Union was one of the greatest catastrophes in world history and may well have been averted if Russia had retained the favouritism of the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church. Vladamir Putin wishes to expand Russian weight and retain the Superpower status that Russia lost in the dark days of the Soviet Union's meltdown. I feel that Putin believes in a Manifest Destiny for Russia but that destiny must include the Eastern Orthodox Church or what happened give 20 years ago will be repeated. I suspect that Ukraine may not succeed in joining the European market because of their be in want of of Russian oil. I hesitate that one could find significant differences between the two other than price although I have not tried either one. I have however used Nikon Premiere 8x42 for several years, an outstanding pair.

Looking for binoculars and need help! Which Nikon?
Aug 13, 2009 by Makavetis | Posted in Astronomy & Space
Im looking for binoculars for nova gazing.
I cannot afford a German brand and have narrowed it down to Japanese..
From those I really like Nikon and have narrowed to 2 models..
Do you guys comprehend advantages or disadvantages of one over the other? I'm wondering why such a price difference..
That's a intricate decision alright. Both appear to be a great set of binoculars. However, in the price vs performance war it comes down to price are you willing to pay $300+ more for 12mm of space? it can make a difference. At $149, IMHO those 10X50's ought to give you many years of great service at 25% of what you'd pay for the other matched set.
However, if you don't mind paying the money the extra aperture would be very nice. They don't add that much weight either, so, you should be able to easily fondle them.
