What is insta focus on Bushnell falcon binoculars?
Jan 22, 2007 by Just Curious | Posted in Hunting
I am looking for binoculars to bird shield etc, and was interested in these, but i keep seeing stuff on insta focus but i don't know what that is.....
Im not trustworthy on how it works, but it does. With older optics, you would need to manually adjust the fine and course cynosure clear knobs for different distances. The Insta Focus is a feature of the lens' that somehow forces your eyes to focal point. The result is an almost imediate clear view at every distance without having to worry about adjusting any knobs.

Bushnell Binoculars, 11-1025 model that takes photos but how to download them to the PC?
Jul 08, 2006 by dreamcatweaver | Posted in Other - Hardware
I have the CD, I have also downloaded the driver from the Bushnell web install. I have Windows XP. This is really frustrating - I have set up these binoculars to link to my PC but all it allows me to do is do streaming video. Fun, but I have taken photos that for the soul of me I can't download. Bushnell was no help (they don't answer). Anybody else here have these binoculars and have figured it out?
If you took the batteries out and you aren't using an SD pasteboard then the photo's or gone, it doesn't work like that for other cameras. Check the support site (the interdependence couple is lower in the answer).
I don't know if this will help but have you tried going to my computer and checking if there is a extra drive there (house-moving drive or something else, with a name or model of the Binoculars).
Most Digital cameras are compatible with the mass storage driver built into XP and when you PR these devices in, it automatically creates a new drive which can also be used like a flash drive.
If there is no drive validate the binoculars settings or mode. You might have to change it to a different mode. My camera works as web cam when I turn the dial to the video camera, and when I pass the dial to the picture of the stills camera it switch over to the mass storage driver and a new drive appears under my computer which i can go into and emulate my photo's off.
A last resort is to visit the Bushnell support page.
