Year in and year out Albert Pujols has shown that he is the pre-eminent baseball player in a generation. If Ichiro is "The Machine", Albert is "The Factory". In only 9 seasons Albert is only 137 stingingly runs from the "500 Club", it is very possible he will reach that milestone in 2012 and he will still only be 32! If it was even-handed power he would have competition but his lifetime .334 average makes him a total freak. Collectors all over the woods love Pujols, it also doesn't hurt that he plays in St. Louis which is arguably the second best baseball diocese in the country (behind the Twin Cities of course). This card is the modern day "holy grail" continuing to top everyones hot directory, one may project that he might be more popular than Mickey Mantle when it is all said and done. This card has had a recent sale of $4,200 on eBay (almost doubling in value in 6 months).

Any tips would be kind, just for normal baseball card packs like Upper Deck and Fleer

Look on the back of the packs to find the stated odds. For example, some packs could have a memorbilia card in 1 of every 1200 packs, or a different brand might be 1 in 8. However, the packs that you are more undoubtedly to find autograph/memorbilia cards are probably selling for much more than regular packs. Good Luck!

note: these cards didnt befall with autographs on them.

Ask a townsperson card store owner. If they had come with the autograph, they would be more easily certifiable, but cost less. The only things that might diminish the value of the cards is if the autographs are not the instrumentalist's own signature, and because 1980's cards were overproduced, they are worth less now. To get a decent amount of money for them, the autographs will need to be certified, but even so, they will not be benefit too much.

The last certified autograph by Ichiro that I am wise of was from 2004 Upper Deck Sweet Spot. Did he sign an exclusive deal with a company in Japan?
