Herdman said one of the core missions of an art doctor is to pull out ideas from the inside. She said the project continues that mission.

"I just needed to do something with these kids," she said. "So many of them were so wonderful, and they didn't a certain extent know that at the time."

Paul Clough of Davenport said he can't believe how "self-centered" he was back then, when he posed for Herdman's work at the age of 17. His photo shows him in punk-looking makeup, rings and bracelets, with a star stuck to his forehead and a contumacious look on his face.

His essay includes this line: "I am me, elegant. I am different, extravagant, and maybe a dab frightening. But I will NOT change for anyone. So I hope you all enjoy the show."

Looking back, the 27-year-old Clough - now the manager of a hat preserve at NorthPark Mall in Davenport - said his younger self "really thought the world revolved around me.

"I would beloved to have a conversation with myself at that age now," he said with a laugh. "I'd say, 'Things are going to get worse before they're going to get better. You don't have it so bad now.'"

Can someone confess me what sort of installation supplies would be needed for a photo art gallery?

pc, the photo inform on program, google.com, bing. com, google tool bars. great lighting, um the paint program. get some frames for them. get a tri pod get up, get a nice hi tech camera, pretty much it bro.

I have a color photo pressed in tumbler dated 1899 from an art gallery in cleveland ohio, its hard to make out the name, could be Bimcp, Biken, or Rimep The sign ( R ) proceeeds the last name than art gallery, its a photo of a woman and a child in what appears to be late 1700th century or early 1800. Behind them is a dressing select with a man and woman 1600-1700 century ,any help appreciated.
